Here at Primary Plus Tutoring, we offer the help, support and tuition to allow your child to take the next step in their education journey, whether you are based in Northumberland, North Tyneside or Tyne and Wear.
Whether working below the expected standard, striving for greater depth or beyond, our team uses their experience and knowledge to help your child learn and grow academically.
We are very aware of the increasing need for extra help for children as they head toward their SATS year, as well as in the build up to other standardised tests, including in Year 2.
Our team is made up of primary specialists who are working in classrooms across the region. They are engaging in unique and effective practices so the children they teach can make progress at whatever stage of the Primary Learning Journey they are on.
What do we offer?
The current National Curriculum has a huge focus on literacy and maths, with children not only expected to know the rules and strategies in both subjects, but also to use them effectively to enrich their learning.

We don’t believe in simply following a set scheme of work.

Our tutors assess to find out the areas to improve upon before tailoring their sessions to fill in those gaps and build on them, turning a perceived weakness into a strength.
